The PERSEUS project is thrilled and proud to have participated at the 7th European Aeronautics Days that was held on 20-23 October 2015 at the QEII Centre in Central London, UK. The Conference, attended by more than 1000 delegates, 280 key speakers and 90 exhibitors, was a great success and has acted as a positive enabler for industry, governments, the European Commission, research institutions, academia and many others, to come together, interact and present strategic perspectives and achievements in aviation research and innovation.
Out of the 54 technical sessions, ten were dedicated to issues related to Skills, Breakthrough and Knowledge in Aviation, thus providing us not only indications for future activities but also opportunities for valuable networking. PERSEUS took part in the parallel session of the second day dedicated to “Outreach: Skills and Knowledge in Aviation”, with a comprehensive presentation given by the project Coordinator, Prof. Franco Bernelli from Politecnico di Milano. The excellent and well-received presentation was entitled “Roadmap for Quality in EU Aero-Engineering Curricula” and is available for viewing and downloading here.
Furthermore, a brief PERSEUS presentation of the project’s concept, main objectives and expected results was hosted at the EASN booth. Additionally, PERSEUS leaflets were circulated to the participants of Aerodays2015.
We would like to thank all those who showed interest in the PERSEUS project and its up-to-day findings!
